Welcome to Muswell Hill Primary School.
We are a happy, ambitious, high-achieving and inclusive school, reflecting the rich diversity of families in our area. I can’t imagine a nicer place to work.
I am proud and delighted to be the head of Muswell Hill.
At Muswell Hill, every child is encouraged to discover and nurture their interests and talents through a stimulating curriculum that has global dimensions, going beyond the basic national curriculum requirements.
We have a dynamic team of vocational teachers and teaching partners who act as exemplary role models, educating and nurturing each child, enabling them to achieve high standards of academic attainment, while enabling them to become capable, caring and confident human beings.
Alongside our hard working, dedicated and highly trained staff is a whole community of parents and carers drawn from a wide variety of backgrounds and cultures, each contributing to our learning environment and the school’s creative ethos.
Muswell Hill Primary School is set in beautiful grounds next to Alexander Palace. We have a modern, light and spacious building and a recently converted STEaM classroom. We also have excellent play and sports facilities adding to the range of our provision.
Muswell Hill Primary School is a two-form community primary school situated in North London. We are commited to the Rights of the Child and are passionate about young people’s learning. We relish the challenge of guiding them through the early stages of their lives.

Muswell Hill is a rights respecting community, which promotes active, global citizenship. We have an energetic and enthusiastic pupil voice, developed by a purposeful curriculum. This champions the rights of learners and provides an effective learning environment. We build individuals' capacity to collaborate, to transform themselves, their communities, and the wider world.
We work collaboratively across a professional Network Learning Community within Muswell Hill and Highgate, and across Haringey. This helps to develop pedagogy, curriculum and innovation for everyone, through training, research and evidence-informed practice.
In addition to our academic focus, we emphasise creativity, with a spotlight on performing and visual arts. We offer an enriched curriculum where the children’s heritage is valued and celebrated.
Our expansive Physical Education and games provision champions inclusive practice, while offering the opportunity to compete at a high level. We are proud to have achieved sporting success both locally and regionally.
The physical and mental well-being of all our children are equally valued, with prominence in the curriculum for both. We are committed to high quality outdoor learning within our amazing grounds.
